Entry to Thailand
Hi Just a question about entry and visa into Thailand now. I just spent Feb 24- 2nd Dec 24 in Thailand so about 8 months. 1 Tourist visa with Extension 2 Land Border Crossings with Extension 2023 2 Tourist visa with extensioins so about 6months in Thailand Iam now looking to try and enter back in Feb'25. Do i get a Tourist visa even though they have Visa Exempt for 60 days. Would i be able to enter without issues in the main BKK airports? UK Citizen and 46 years old. -

Non-Immigrant O (Spouse/Dependent)
First up (my guess) you do not have "VOA" you have visa exempt entry. 60 day stamp. Your best option to open a bank account in Bangkok (with visa exempt) is to use an agent. You mention "without agent" At very least you would require a "certificate of residence". That can be obtained at CW. Only up to recently that was not possible at CW without having done a 90 day report. The bank account is the issue. Obtaining a non O based on marriage with 400k in Thai bank account in your name only is not difficult. In hindsight if you had obtained the non O outside of Thailand then that would have made opening a bank account easy.
