Best Website Design Software. (Classifieds)?

Featured Replies

Hi all, does anyone here currently use any software for a classified adds site?

I've just bought a domain name from GoDaddy.com and was looking for the best software to biuld/edit the site with!

Most important factor is the ability for traffic to be able to switch from english/thai (available in both languages) at the touch of a button

Been looking at Classifieds Script SEO Edition from Softiiz http://www.softbizsc...pt-software.php it looks ok but anyone know the ultimate software for this type of website

Any help will be much appreciated

Thanks

Dave

Try zen cart or magneto, usually free when you buy a hosting server.

Easy to handle and many posibilities.

And free if you have instrallatron on your cpanel.

classifieds are easy to program - the best is to make your own program in PHP / MySQL, so you get exactly what you wants and gain the competitive edge.

There are some good paid and free plugins that will turn Wordpress into a classifieds platform.

Using Wordpress as your CMS cuts out a lot of the work.

Check out Hostgator instead of godaddy to host sites. Much better imo, plus lots of free stuff including shopping carts.

You can host multiple sites and also have access to shell.
