69_68iou1
Hi, Can any one help me explain to a thai what a "letter of credit" means please? I will be providing a letter of credit to a thai to show that I have the funds available. so if some one can help by replying with the meaning in thai script so I can print it out it would be a great help as the online dictionaries seem only to look up single words. Many thanks
yoot
"letter of credit" meansหนังสือที่ธนาคารแห่งหนึ่งมีไปถึงธนาคารอีกแห่งหนึ่งให้จ่ายเงินในจำนวนที่ระบุไว้แก่บุคคลที่ระบุไว้ But for doing business in Thailand, we use the same term as in English เลตเตอร์ออฟเครดิต or just use the short form of it " L/C". People who used to dealing business should understand.
