Please, please, please tell me you dumped her and found a new one with an IQ over the national average ( 91 )... Or at least that you disabused her of the notion that such beleifs were reasonable.

I try to be tolerant of other people's political views, even if I don't agree with them. I even extend that tolerance to close and intimate friends.

I knew a girl once who was an ardent Thaksin supporter, so I refrained from discussing politics with her. I don't think that either of us suffered from that conversational restriction.

A close friend of mine at university was a paid-up member of the student's conservative association; in fact we all were, in an attempt to gerrymander their elections, but I found it easier to avoid discussing politics in that situation as well. To be fair, we kept discussion pretty much to personal abuse.
