Transfer Uk To Thailand

Featured Replies

Would like to know other's experiences in this area regarding time.

I used to get my small private pension by cheque which took up to 3 weeks to clear sometime. This year is the first by transfer. Now into the UK " Yes we transferred it 5 days ago " and the Thai bank " no, it hasn't arrived yet"

Already checked all the details, amount, numbers etc and all are correct.

Anyone had similar or can give me an idea of timings they have experienced.

Happy whateverday it is.

My UK bank transferred money to my Thai account on Monday and I was able to withdraw it from the ATM in Pattaya Tuesday morning.

My pension arrives direct from the provider who use Capita I think and its in my Bangkok Bank Account within two days, the longest it has ever taken is three days.

Money goes into Bangkok Bank LONDON and is in Thai account the next day.

and...NO you dont need an account in Bangkok Bank London to do it, but you must have a Bangkok bank account in Thailand.
