Anybody know where I can get a video sender/receiver in BKK?

Got 2 TV's and want to be able to watch UBC/DVD in the bedroom, without investing in a second decoder/DVD player!!!!!

Never seen a video sender for sale in BKK. I bought one from Ebay in the UK and it works fine. I can also change channel from the 2nd TV using the UBC remote. This is done via an IR feed from the sender. Pretty nifty actually.

Try one of the Amorn electronics shops...

They have several in Bangkok.

In Pattaya, most electronics shops stock them, I just bought one, working on the 2.4gHz frequency. 100ft range indoor, over 500ft outdoor range.

Paid around 2500 Baht.

Have also seen the IR forwarders if you ant to control your UBC box from another room. Around 800 Baht.

when they installed my UBC 3 years ago (in Khon Kaen) they had a set for 3500Bt with them (including IR)

maybe you should ask the UBC "technicians"
