2X Tourist From Savannakhet—Aug 2011

Successfully applied for and received a 2x tourist visa from Sav. Usual process. The woman behind the counter asked me why I wanted a 2x. Told her I wanted to visit northern Thailand, see Isarn, and spend xmas in Thailand, with a big winning Australian smile. Works every time. Picked up the visa the next afternoon. Usual gaggle of folk, handful of westerners, lots of Loatians, all looking for that 'stamp'. Had a chat to an interesting us beatnic guy. Tip: bring along or buy the application form from the entrepeneurs across the road, otherwise you will have to q to get, then re-q to hand over the completed form.

I have been here since 2008, on ED visa, then a Tourist Double Entry.

my thai girl friend juste phoned thai embassy this morning and the officer says that It will might no problem for a double entry visa tourist in Savannakhet
