It also take some motivation,dedication, dicipline and a little bit more than common understanding, or be willing to understand som cultural differences to succeed and maintain an healthy relationship. Basicaly both parts must be willing to adjust to make it work. Most seems to come with a fixed package, and if it doesnt work for them, then it is not worth it. I can can understand some younger retires enjoys the single life, but there comes a day, when being two is a good thing. I also believe being in an healthy relationship contributes to better health. -

Thailand's Expats Urged to Register with TRD for Tax, Says Expert
The zero rated tax band is still a part of the Revenue tax tables. Even though there is no tax to pay, taxable income should be applied to the tables and is still considered to have been taxed, albeit at zero percent. It may sound semantic but there is a difference between not being taxed and being taxed at zero percent. I'm pretty certain the TRD wants us to go through the process and show our workings, that can only be achieved by filing the return and demonstrating that TEDA exceeds income and/or that income is only taxable as zero percent. If you don't do those things, everyone will end up not filing and claiming just what you have, ergo, no need to file. But TRD wants some kind of proof, ergo, show your calculations, show your working, I think you'll find that's what they are after. -

eVisa has an enter "from - till" date. You can exit and reenter Thailand during the validity window. You will be stamped in for 90 days (seems it's a non O) -

THB35 Customs charge on package from UK.
I don't mind the fees so much, it is the customs PO can be very far away. I recently ordered some pharmaceuticals from the UK and delivered from India. There was no fee listed with the notice. I made the one and half hour trip only to find that it was a holiday. I contacted the seller and they imediately reshiped. That one was received with no issues. -

Help needed with one question about UK frozen state pension.
Personally, and based on a wooly reply from DWP, I would say not. The pension would revert to the original frozen amount.- 1

Visa type recommend for US expat under 50 ?
if you plan a long stay and meet the required qualifications, the LTR in the long run may be easier and cheaper and your better half can get an LTR on your visa...Just saying.
