Since many years our company lawyer is doing my yearly visa. Very convenient, because I don't have to visit the Immigration office. Now married to a Thai, is there any reason to change this normal business visa to a marriage visa? I prefer to wait until my retirement.

You may have to change everything else now :o but see no reason for you to change the visa. But have never been here on a business visa so maybe somebody else can point out one.
