When I visited in May 05 I got my visa issued for Lithuania on the border ( on arrival) from Poland. I would assume it depends on the nationality. The Thais traveling with me got visas ( 1 hr) in Warsau along with insurance that was mandatory. Also try the embassy yourself.http://lt.embassyinformation.com/list.php

ilyushin, more questions if you don't mind. I recently got a reply from Lithuanian Embassy in Warsaw and they said that the process takes 5 days and I also need an invitation from a friend/travel agency in Lithuania. Was it such a pain in the ass process your friends had or was it quite simple? Did they pay extra for the 'express' service?

Thanks!
