Hiya All

Does the accomodation, letter of intent have to be dated? I am unsure on this as I may hand the visa application in after the birth of my child, thus his decide name is on the letters etc...which I have done already.

Let me know thanks, people of visa world!

Thanks again for all your replys, lost without you. :o

Whenever you submit the application, any letters should be dated fairly recently. Just save the letter as a word doc. and insert the date when you're ready.

Hi Scouse

I undertstand that, however some letters have to be signed in the U.K. I just did not want to sign them after the fact? So what is the longest they can be dated bfore, week, month?

Hope this makes sense.

Hi Lop,

On all the letters that i submitted to the Embassy, i just put the month on them. So instead of putting for instance "19th Sept 2005", i just put "September 2005". They didn't question any of them.

Hiya mrbojangles,

ok I will do just that then. I was concerned about the letter from my employer as it will be dated 2 month before I apply?

Yeah, but try to get them to post date it, for 2 months time. So just ask them if they can put January 2006.
