Ordering Tickets

Time to order my tickets to Chiangrai. I use a lot of different sites to check for prices and always buy the roundtrip tickets at for the whole flight. However, it seems like if I land in Bangkok, and THEN buy a ticket to Chiangrai, it will be cheaper than buying it 1st. Question, what is the airfare now to/from Bangkok/Chaingrai?

Would you buy at the airport before you leave?

I always book online before hand and usually get the promotion prices.

You can check the current prices online at the Air Asia and Thai Airways sites.

I belong to Air Asia's website and get the Specials sent out to me each week and some are really cheap but you have to plan well ahead... the latest I got were for next April.

Current promotions on TG give a THB 2,530 fare but not every day. It goes up to 3,5xy on Friday evenings to MOnday mornings I believe. AA is whatever the day is when you ask the question.

Thanks. Would buy my tickets from cheapairfare.com buy just from SLC to Bangkok. Then go to the other airport and buy to/from Bangkok/Chiangrai.
