Tits, Bums And Babes Pictures - No More!

Featured Replies

After much deliberating in the Mods forum, it has been decided that ThaiVisa is not really the place for us kids to share our naughty pics :o . It was fun while it lasted, but enough is enough.

There's not much point in debating it, the decision has been made. I'll leave this thread open for comments if you so wish, but keep it civil.

It is quite likely that the closed tits, bums, etc threads will get deleted eventually, so don't be surprised if all traces disappear soon.

Cheers, everyone and thanks to those who participated. We all know where we can go for more raunchy topics.. www.barladies.com.

....yet the beat goes on...

Whilst, at least 14 members have to zip up their flies, cursing Remembrance Day, 2005.

Never, now to be forgotten, as the day Thaivisa cleaned up its act.

May the member's members Rest In Peace.

I guess the boundaries were stepped over though I personally didn't find any harm and generally found it quite entertaining, in a humorous way not sensual. This additional freedom in Bedlam is what makes/made Bedlam 'special'.

Me too - very entertaining, and some of the comments about the pics were excellent. But I don't think a Thai sensor would understand or even read the comments.

TM is off the mark with his "zip up their flies" comment. Unless, of course, he was talking about himself. :o

I personally didn't take offence to any of these threads. It is Bedlam after all and boys will be boys!!!

I do admit, though, I was shocked a few times...... but, I don't mind either way :o

TM is off the mark with his "zip up their flies" comment. ...

How come (sorry, unintentional)?

Unless you are trying to reveal in a cryptic manner, that you, and others, have been experiencing premature signs of impotence, brought on as soon as you entered Bedlam.

That whilst you have been looking at these images all the time you have been "lying back and thinking of England"?

Marmite is accused of many things, but this is the first time anyone could suspect willy wasting.

Personally I find that decision completely unnecessary. We as people all have what God gave us on our bodies. Why is it negative to show it? It's totally natural. What is there to be ashamed of? Only people are to blame for conditioning our minds into thinking that nudity is bad. It is the all-natural human form, in all its beauty and should be celebrated.

It gladdens my heart to know that I have been of service to you, TM, in posting my sexy pics. :D Unfortunately, you may be correct about the "Marmite effect" as my own fly stayed fully zipped throughout all the - now closed - threads. :D

If I can be of further assistance, please let me know. :o

And there was me thinking that bedlam was unmoderated.

I thought the whole idea of having bedlam was so that we could post what we wanted.

Just like some people may have found those threads offensive,so other members may have found political threads offensive. I agree that the amount of threads were over the top, but again the same could be said for political threads yet none of the these have been closed, and arent Thailad related.

Shame really that the aurthourities have decided on this action, so from now on if we have anything that may be humourous or a picture that perhaps may have some nudity in it we are no longer allowed to display this?

Edit, just noticed the threads have now been completley removed and not just closed, nice bit of not moderating.

Just my opinion on the matter

Google and other sponsors is (are) king.

Mmmm and there was me thinking members were king, without members there is no need for sponsors.

I'm just speculating but it wouldnt surprise me..nothing as nitpicky as a sponsor..

It would be great to have a completely unmoderated section of the forum, unfortunately we have to deal with the realities of our venue, and the vagaries of Thai laws. Should the wrong persons take offense to the pictures posted here they would not block bedlam, but all of Thaivisa. That would mean the end of years of work and a lot of investment.

Some may not care as its just a playground for them to be used and discarded as needed, but I'm sure the majority of you understand that there difficulties and risks involved in finding that balance between offering the kind of freedom of expression our members are used to, with the level that Thai authorities will allow.

The decision to end the pornographic posts was not a moral judgement against anyone, it is simply part of the risk management we need to do in order to keep the site viable. I'm sorry we had to do it, and we hope you understand.

I think the occasional and obviously humorous pic that is relevant to the subject of the thread would be OK. But blatant sexy pics, designed simply to titillate - no. (I wonder where "titillate" comes from? Is it women who get "titillated"? Do men get "knobillated"? :o )

Oh-oh. Rain and wind coming in Phuket. Electricity supply flickering. Internet link failing. May have to log off soon.

Personally I find that decision completely unnecessary.  We as people all have what God gave us on our bodies.  Why is it negative to show it?  It's totally natural.  What is there to be ashamed of?  Only people are to blame for conditioning our minds into thinking that nudity is bad.  It is the all-natural human form, in all its beauty and should be celebrated.

...on Thaivisa Bedlam with a good wank.

Or are you telling us that you also viewed these pictures with the dispassion of a gynaecologist.

Or perhaps it was the aesthetics, despite the fact that, when push comes to shove, the vast majority of the contributors would be lucky if they could tell their aesthetics from their elbows.

NO, NO - you say, just fun, no exploitation, sexual or otherwise - we acknowledge every photographer and ensure the correct monies are paid to him (or her) and the models.

But I don't want to go down that way - whatever turns you on is alright by me.

All I do know is, there are, at least three members of Thaivisa and Bedlam, whose posts have at times amused me, as they battle with the endemic chauvinism on Thaivisa.

They are quite clearly in a minority here and, for that reason alone, deserve our respect.

I therefore cannot see how any reasonably intelligent person can justify the existence of threads that indirectly, and often directly, ridicule these members for no other reason than that they were born without the loose parts dangling between the legs.

Get to the point, Thomas!

Ok fair enough, so i better point out the willies thread and the risque jokes thread as they have pictures int hem which could be deemed offensive and i am sure there are plenty more threads out there with offensiver pictures.

So who gets the job of looking for them? :o

Yes, I was wondering about the willies thread. Regarding the pic you're referring to, well, it's er... not ..how can I say ... erect, is it? :o

Get to the point, Thomas!

I've got to the point, gift wrapped it and delivered it with 12 dozen bloody roses.

If you haven't got it yet, it not only proves my point, but suggests also Internet is not the only loose connection on Phuket.

Thankfully, due to the collectivity of the Mods' common sense, this discussion is purely academic anyway.

can someone please remove the willies thread? And the risque jokes thread actually has a picture depicting a sex act, granted it is a cartoon but this shouldnt make any difference.

To help the mods out both of these topics are on page 2

I'm just speculating but it wouldnt surprise me..nothing as nitpicky as a sponsor..

Maybe some Sponsors did express concern.

I am a Sponsor and I did not have a problem, nor am I nittypicky Will... :D:o

I enjoyed the threads and the freedom of expression that was allowed in Bedlam.

I thought they added to the fun value of TV.

I take on board all the points RDN has made and find no fault in the reasoning behind this decision. Afterall Thaivisa is a business and the owners would be foolish, to say the least, if they jepordised the future of TV in any way.

My only concern is that Bedlam can never be the same again and thus loses its purpose.

RIP BEDLAM

On the contrary, you ramble. In the post I referred to you talked about people wanking over these pictures, not having the brains to know what aesthetics means, not acknowledging the source of their pictures, your particular liking of three ladies in this forum, and - most ridiculous of all - your belief that sexy pictures of women "ridicules" these three ladies because they don't have male sex organs.

You are rambling Thomas almost to the point of being a troll.

So can one still posts pictures of hot sexy women in Bikini / Lingerie, etc here?

:o

You are welcome to your opinion, even if it is erroneous and marginally insulting.

After all you have the bigger stick.

And you seem determined to use it.

It must be very difficult for you being teased after loosing the secret debate.

how can i say more :o

anyhow, back to the topic ... im not a fan of those sexy pics ..but sometime it was funny..make me laugh till nealy piss

so..my Question, what is the direction of bedlam .. what can we do here? just politic?

im just curious.. (no sexy pics here i still alive without hurt .. i didnt look at them much actually...pretty rare)

Can we have another poll? Surely we are all adults here. I think it adds to the fun of bedlam. Beats all the political <deleted> that goes on here. Bring back tits, ass and the rest of those so callled threads.

My understanding of Bedlam has been that Forum Rules still applied. The only major relaxations were, topics were allowed that had no relation to Thailand, and, because of relaxed moderation, the boundaries of certain rules were "flexible".

But what happened in Bedlam was not a question of flexibility or rigidity; what happened in Bedlam was in direct contravention of at least 3 of Forum Rules:

1) You will not use thaivisa.com to post any material which is knowingly or can be reasonably construed as false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, referencing suicide, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law.

...

3) Religious or racial slurs, rude and degrading comments towards women, or extremely negative views of Thailand will not be tolerated.

...

10) Please do not post links to pages that contain objectionable material. This includes, warez, cracks, pornography, pyramid schemes, referral ID's, ebay listings and requesting donations.

In fact I would go so far as to say what was happening in Bedlam was a direct flaunting F.U. to Thaivisa Forum Rules.

We must all live with the consequences.
