This little fellow made the mistake of hiding near our front doorstep when my lady was sweeping.

It's fatal mistake was having a swipe at her when she was holding a broom.

She says it's a cobra, can anyone confirm?

And, where there's one baby, can we expect many more around the place? (building work going on, lots of places for them to hide!)

Thanks Tywais. I was leaning towards a rat snake but the GF called it a cobra.

Have checked further and I'm now pretty sure it was an Indo-Chinese Rat Snake - (Ptyas korros).

Poor little bugger.

(No one or nothing should try to bite the lady when she is holding a broom!)
