Generic Medications

Featured Replies

Mostly, I avoid prescription substances except that is tadalafil. (Cialis); In such a case, is generic tadalafil available in Thailand by prescription or by purchase over-the-counter?

For other health considerations, are food-supplements legal and available in Thailand? I mean things like vitamins, minerals, herbs etc. Since this is not a fad with me, (I have used supplements for at least four decades), when I arrive in the country, I will have a supply in my luggage. Is it legal to bring such things into the country? Also are there pharmacies with refrigeration in Pattaya and Bngkok? Many thanks in advance, - cheers

I believe generic Cialis is illegal in Thailand. You may obtain legit branded Cialis legally only from a doctor by prescription, not over the counter. Same w/ Viagra.

No policy prohibiting importing standard supplements and vitamins. The most common are available here but cost 3 times or more what they do in the USA.

I don't recall ever seeing a fridge in a regular pharmacy except to hold beer and soft drinks. No doubt hospital pharmacies refrigerate some medicines but I haven't really noticed. Probably someone around here knows for sure . . .
