Tot Wireless Connection

Since last night 23 Oct I can not connect to the internet using my TOT wireless. The connection is excellent but it seems to be a server problem. Anyone else having this same problem? I have tried on two computers to connect and my smart phone with no luck. Also do you know the 24 hour number to TOT if you do have problems like this.

I'm a low tech user and don't know if your problem is a server problem. I have TOT 6MeG, which gets 5.2 Meg. I run one off of DSL and one in the room next to it running on wireless. The one running wireless always says the signal is excellent or good, but seems to run a bit slower, and with a slight delay in response. Sometimes in the evening or busy times, the wireless computer is unable to download Youtube clips or streamed programs, but the one connected direct to the modem can. Probably not a lot of help, but thought I would give you my information in case it might help you figure out what's going on.

That's for those who replied to me. I just found out the tower here got hit yesterday by lightening and did some damage. They are fixing it now.

I had a similar problem for almost a year in CM. TOT was at fault on their lines part of time. Rain was a problem. Finally TOT came out twice and checked the lines to the house, then ask to come in. He checked lines inside for me. Most of the problem was the line inside the house. House was new 14 years ago, but due to corrosion, etc had deteriorated. Replaced total line from house box outside to the jack. Never had a problem since. For years off and on problems. New line was installed by a non TOT technician for 1000 baht total. Worth looking at for those who have consistent problems. My opinion is that too much blame is placed on TOT for problems. Never occurred to us to check line in the house. Good luck.

I am using Open Dns still have the same problem:(...i think this must be a a problem with ToT.my ipad and android phone also can not connect.

anybody have any idea what is going on....internet is perfect in evenings and early morning.

Daytime drops every 15min and gone for about 5min.

Windows tell me sometimes problem with Dns server other times that i have to restart router.

About 18h everything is back to normal....if it is a ToT line problem why is it not a 24hr problem?

I was thinking it maybe is a electrical interference from a shop or something with business hours same as the problem i have.

I'm in Pattaya and have been having same problem for 4 days now. Does not settle down after 6pm like it does for others. At least I know its not a local problem so will just have to be patient that TOT fixes it soon.
