Is it balls.... We used to sell it, and it's just a cheapish black lager really.

It does sell well, and it's tasty but guatemalan brewery Cerveceria Centroamerica produces a somewhat more lager like version called Moza which for us is just easier to stock.

No way does it, or Moza come anywhere near guiness. Guiness Rocks.

I like this topic already, i was starting not to come into Bedlam as much, as all there is at the moment is political &lt;deleted&gt;. Long may this thread go on

Now then, back to beer. Guiness, i love it but can only handle 3 pints before i feel full and bloated. Stella Artois, gorgeous taste but gets you pissed pretty quick. If i'm on a full nighter i like Boddingtons Bitter never get too full and not at all gassy

Typical Swede, missing out Scandinavia's best beer - Carlsberg (any variety).

Judging by the number of Swedes who fall onto the street just outside the Danish brewery in Copenhagen, where they have been competing in the daily sport for tourists - see how much free beer you can drink in an hour - it is a point of view shared by most of Meatball's fellow countrymen.

The other Mexican brew I like is Carta Blanca. Goes even better at the beach.

Guiness is too stout for the hot sun.

hmm... agreed. Guiness is for cooler climates or indoors in air con (cool) places. I don`t know Carta blanca... Is it like Sol or corona? I ask as they are good beach beers for me.

While watching the Cricket the other night my wife and I were discussing life and death.

I told her, "Just so you know, I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and relying on fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug."

She promptly got up, unplugged the TV and threw out all my beer.

Some days I hate being married to a smart bitch.

If it's not too big (not sure of the limit, but I think it's about 2 MB), when you post, at the bottom of the screen there is a File Attachments box... hit the browse button, find your .avi or .wmv file, click Add this Attachment, wait for it to be uploaded to TV's server, then add into your post.

I'm surprised...Carta Blanca used to be one of the best selling mexican beers before dos equis hogged the market share...

me, I like a nice chilled bottle or 3 of Superior, preferably accompanied by a nice plato from my favorite mexican restaurant on West Pico in LA...

I was brought up on Guinness, and I disagree it's only for cooler climes. What you neeed to do is get yourself bottled Guinness well chilled and enjoy.

It is a bit of an acquired taste if you are used to the draught but worth it. Many a BBQ was lubed with large bottles of Guinness on our (very few) hot days, aahhhh!!!
