Music And Movies Preloaded On A Hdd

Every time I travel to BKK I buy a heap of DVD's and CD's then spend a stupid amount of time ripping them to my media centre at home.

I want to just make this easier by finding someone in BKK that can load straight to an external HDD for me - Anyone know where I can get this done?

why not download them yourself from torrent sites and put them directly onto a HDD. I download my movies and leave them on my computer then copy to HDD, so as to seed for others.

If I had asked "how can I download from the net" then your answer would be helpful - I didn't ask that so it is not.

with bittorrent it looks like one has an account with them with all the downloaded files stored with them to use as seeds...my torrent downloaded movies go to 'My Downloads' from which I can move to other external hard drives for 'permanent' storage...however what one sees available in town may not be available to download (ie., 'A gala of torture and suffering at tutsi's Torture Mansion - all of our models are 18 y.o....') hence the query for a way to store the content of a couple dozen DVDs in town with folks that have the facilities...no questions asked...

better than watching the local TV or the garbage on UBC, sho' 'nuff...I just downloaded and watched Peckinpah's Straw Dogs...never did see it before an it was quite a bit different that I had imagined...in the nearly 40 years since it's commercial release...
