I think there are plans. A few weeks ago in Pattaya Mail, I read that the locals were up in arms because developers had cleared some hill tops and breached environmental regulations, even clearing trees planted in honour of HM The King!!!

Not sure what happened after the protest. My guess is developers will lie low for a while and then resuscitate plans once the necessary pay-offs and deals are completed. But perhaps I am too cynical.

I think I saw a follow up to this and (maybe I am wrong?) but I think the locals won and the Condo development has been cancelled.

Well, until enough money changes hands and it is all on again................:whistling:

I saw the meeting the locals had with the mayor or his deputy on one of the local cable channel news items
