Hi! My name is Tobias and I am from Sweden. I am currently in kohpanangh and have decided to stay here for another month. What is the easiest way to get visa for that time? we as swedes get 30 days when we enter but how to do after that?

I rather not go to the border and back, and wouldnt wanna go to bangkok either but i guess one of the two is a must? money is not an issue, I just want to go the easiest way.

You need to cross a border, enter another country, and return. You need to do that in person.

Afrraid, there is no easy way, Tobias. That 30-days-chop is not visa but just a permission to enter as tourist and stay for 30 days, max.

You could go to immigration and might get another 10 days.

Alternative, cross a border and upon return get another 30 days.

Hmmm.. I see, thank you for your answers. So I have to get out of the country. Then I have a followup query, how can we do that easiest from kohpanangh? Im gonna look at kohsamui airport to see if we can fly to maybe singapore for a day or two. Other than that I heard they arrange trips that go to the border and back. Now i know anyhow, tyvm

Singapore is one place to get a new visa, KL is another. Or make your way to Hat Yai, opposite the railway station there are places to get a mini bus to Penang. The mini bus will drop you in or near Chulia Street, there are places there that will do the visa bit for you.
