Decisions, decisions, where to stay in retirement?
You have tried everything, including Cyprus. At least you have several options left. As many other elderly Farangs have no options left. Consider yourself as "fortunate". -

Why Zelensky Won’t Bargain Away Crimea — No Matter the Pressure
What Did Nuland Actually Say? In 2013, Victoria Nuland gave a talk at the National Press Club in Washington where she mentioned: “Since Ukraine’s independence in 1991, the United States has supported Ukrainians as they build democratic skills and institutions. We’ve invested over $5 billion to assist Ukraine in these and other goals.” -

BYD Seal tips, tricks and help
Yes, seen a few posts to that effect, also seen some posts recommending deleting Gbox and sideloading the newer version ( not recommended imo ). Also some stating to use something called Revanced Manager or MicroG, either way its all way over my head. As always some will be claiming they have a work around or a better solution. Me, I’ll just wait to see what happens thru official channels. BYD, or i suppose Rever, need to clarify the situation, Gbox has put their official statement out and the people will want answers. It was always a radical move to enable YouTube or videos etc to run while the car was in motion. I’d settle for another 5 months of free charging 😀 Bottom line is, for me, GBox didn’t bring anything of much interest, just an easy way to load some apps. Handy to have YouTube ( Music ) etc while you are charging but can be done via the built in browser anyway. All i ask of the centre screen is a workable navigation app, whether that BYD or Google Maps or whoever I don’t care, the charging apps would also be nice to have centre screen also. Will be interesting to see Rever’s response. -

On the precipice of disaster: Measles may be endemic in 25 years if vaccine uptake stays low
The current measles vaccine (standard two doses) is 97% effective in preventing the disease, and confers protection for life. That's a pretty good deal for youngsters who need that protection. "Most people get the MMR vaccine as children. It’s given in two shots, the first typically when a child is between 12 and 15 months of age, and the second when they are 4 to 6 years old. It’s a live vaccine, meaning that it contains a small, weakened dose of the virus. No vaccine is 100% effective against measles, but two MMR shots are 97% effective. (Two shots are 88% effective against mumps, and a single shot is 97% effective against rubella.) Most people who are vaccinated will never get the measles; although a small percentage have “breakthrough” cases, the symptoms are usually mild. The MMR vaccine is also safe, according to the CDC, which notes that most people have no side effects. If side effects do occur, the most common are soreness at the vaccination site, fever, and pain and stiffness in the joints. https://www.yalemedicine.org/news/should-you-get-a-measles-vaccine-booster -

Donald's fury and it's limitations.
He's not doing anything to end the Russian invasion of Ukraine- quite the opposite- he wants Ukraine to surrender and give up important land that many Ukrainians have DIED for. Trump is appeasing Putin & Russia. That's the main thing he's doing wrong at the moment. If you live in Europe you don't think Trump is a peacemaker. -
