Nokia 701

Featured Replies

I am looking at this model and they rate the display as one of the brightest on the market. Anyone have this model and care to comment?

I have the predecessor of the 701, the C7, and it is a fantastic smartphone.

The 701 has very similar design, more powerful processor/memory and runs Symbian Belle which is very slick.

If you dig deeper, there are not many phones out there which can compete. 5-band 3G, USB-OTG (connect external sticks, cameras, mouse or keyboard), NFC (the coming hype), wordwide offline navigation, TV-out, FM transmitter, good camera, beautiful screen, great built quality, great battery life and great price.

But it is still a smartphone and not a tablet. 3,5" screen fits in your front pockets, but does not impress people who carry bricks of 5" and more.

I fully recommend it. For around 10-11K in Thailand, it is a no-brainer.

Thanks for the great feedback.

I'm nervous on Nokia as everyone is saying Android is the way to go. I do like the review and specs for the phone though.
