I have a 500CIV dreambox and I wanted to bring to Thailand. Someone told me I still can watch the same channels as long connect to same dish. 500s dish, anyone know how to get it and fix it?? Pls guide me.. Thanks!!'

There's lots of satellite dish installers in Thailand, you shouldn't have a problem finding one.

Hi KevinLow ,You will not get the same channels here as say you had

in Europe or U.S.A. , as they are different satellites overhead here,

but I am sure you will easily find an installer that can get things set

up for you.

Maybe OP is not from Europe or USA.

Anyways, there is plenty of local installers who can install dish for you. Just ask around in your area.

As long as you come from SE Asia you can use your existing receiver and card in Thailand

as long as you have a correctly aligned dish and the satellite covers Thailand.

KewinLow: As others have said, more information is needed to be able to give you good answers. For example, for suggestions to a good installer we would need to know what part of Thailand you live in, and to be able to discuss differences between "before" and "now" we would also need to know which part of the world you came from.

It is also a good idea to be more specific than "I need help" in the topic. You could say "I need help with a DM500" for example.

He is posting from Singapore, hence my comment on SE Asia.
