I have seen a flyer for this show coming up for three days - this Friday to Sunday.

The balloons look absolutely fantastic in shapes and colours and I have no doubt will make a grand spectacle.

Trouble is no programme/schedule of activities.

Anyone having details would be doing a favour by sharing information such as where exactly will this be held and, if remote, directions on how one gets to the launch field. Also, times etc.

There is a link at the bottom of the page but it's to the Chiang mai balloon festival. Google translate the Thai writing at the side of that page and it basically says they are not linked.

My home backs onto the reserve where this is being held (2 min walk) The main activities are at 6 a.m where the balloons take off and again a 4 p.m with an evening carnival atmosphere. free admission even to farangs. Well worth a look and a nice way to kill an hour or 2.
