Hi,

Is it possible for a Thai citizen to register a sole proprietorship to work online? Is it even required? It seems as though the local government offices don't recognize people who work from home and will only register someone who is involved in e-commerce (i.e., selling online).

Any ideas?

It is not required nor necessary for a Thai national to register a sole proprietorship to work online. They should, however, be sure to declare their income at the Tax Office and pay a minimum tax on it.
