What is a Dtrack 250 sounds like a tractors name

Yamaha bike. OP, I like those too.

Although all main bike manufacturers make motard style bikes, the Dtrack is a Kawasaki... Only draw back to these are the seats being made for a short race and not for comfort. Luckily we are in the land of cheap seat modifications...

I stand corrected, thought they were Yamaha products. Thanks for straightening that out Bunta !

Cheers... Looking in Phuket ideally... 99k for 2008.... Probably best getting a new 2012 for 152k

Seems they hold value quite well...

Any other similar bikes to compete with dtracker in Thailand .... Done a bit if research and it seems to be a popular bike... Just checking I'm not overlooking something!

Tiger Xroad at 100-110k baht, but no dealer or service in Phuket, and have had some quality issues.

So no, Dtracker250 basicly has no competition in Phuket, and they hold their value very well

I'll be off to the kwaka dealer on arrival :) any recommendations where I can get the de restriction wires done. And the seat made comfy... And any other pimp mods made?!

kwaker sells a derestricter box at 7k baht, but if you read up in ThaiVisa Bikes forum, you can see how its done at home, no parts needed

seat modify at any seat shop, a few hundred baht, try to keep stock vinlyl as its kinda heat reflecting

luggage rack and possibly top box, as in my photo

and I dont recall if its 147 or 152k baht, same same

great little bike, my favorite 250

can any bike shop do the de-restrict? and is there a downside to this? assume the emissions no longer comply but also assume that the BIB dont carry testers! costs?

also want to paint the plastics as not a fan of the green or blue...im thinking all black like my current modded TW200...again any issues painting plastic covers?

cant wait to get it and ride phuket and beyond!!

and will be the 250 for sure - currently on a 200 and pretty much happy (sydney and a few hours trips around) but want just a bit extra...prefer not to kill myself so happy to steer clear of more powerful bikes...

derestricting is easy if you follow instructions as in Bike forum. No disadvantage excpet for increased acceleration and top speed. First check is at age 5 year old, but will probably pass a local DLT test derestricted

For spraying bikes plastic parts, recomend ANUPHAS in Katu, next to Shell station. Did an excellent white pearl job for me, without even having the color code, just another part as sample, they hit the color right on.post-81971-0-53179400-1328404730_thumb.j
