BigBikeBKK Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Good to see that Ducati, Thailand is offering training courses! This course was primarily for Monster owners, but all Ducati owners were welcome to join. Somehow a lowly Kwacker snuck in too This event took place at the Honda training / testing track- Honda even provided some riding gear- Certificate of completion- I think it's fantastic that more and more brands are offering training courses! Looks like everyone had a great time! Happy Trails! Tony

Polanskiman Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Any similar training course for Kawa owners or perhaps brand-blind courses?

BigBikeBKK Posted February 24, 2012 Author Posted February 24, 2012 (edited) Any similar training course for Kawa owners or perhaps brand-blind courses? Yes, Kawasaki offers training courses pretty much every month. Some are for total beginners using KSR110's, others are held at BIRA Circuit, and still others are held at a number of different off road venues for folks with dirtbikes and dualsports. Here's a complete list of Kawasaki riding courses in 2012: Oh! And I forgot to mention- most of the Kawasaki riding courses are free of charge and include lunch! Let the Good Times ROLL! Rickster Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 I wonder if the Insurance comapanies are helping to subsidise such courses in order to keep claims down and prices sensible. Very difficult these days to get 'sensible' 1st class ins quotes and a lot of people opting not to take full cover....

Very difficult these days to get 'sensible' 1st class ins quotes and a lot of people opting not to take full cover.... How much is sensible? I think 40k for a bike worth a million baht seems fair to me, at least that's what the guys in a local shop were telling me the quote would be when i was dreaming about buying a new Aprillia RSV Factory mmmmmmmmmm For the meantime 12,000Baht to cover my 2012 Ninja 650 1st class seems fair also
