Samsung are amazing. I wouldn't buy it but then I'm hardly the arbiter product success. Sure beats the Cupertino giant who's idea of a broad portfolio includes white or black. ;)

Can't wait to see what else pops this week at MWC? Looking for that 11.6 Tab!

As you know, the 10.1 came out today, with an sd card slot. That was a good upgrade to their other 10.0 tab.

On the Beam, even the 2000mah battery will not last at the party, showing off your pics and videos, but great little gadget, nevertheless.

Can't buy taste... my MacBook Pro still looks great 3 years on, when all the PC laptops from that era have either been thrown away or look like dinosaurs. BTW I don't think anyone has ever accused Apple of offering a "broad portfolio".... seems to work all right for them I guess...

Samsung of course is introducing a new "flagship" model every 3 months... longevity is not high on their agenda. Why do they still ship phones with Android 2.3?

Hope this won´t turn into **another** "my Apple is better than yours" topic. Both have great things about them and bad ones as well.

Here is one decent MWC overview page

Too many new Android products to keep up with, that's for sure.

We are very lucky to have such a broad array of offerings, from so many manufacturers, in so many sizes and at so many price-points.

Many are expecting a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

HTC seem to be pulling out the stops, as is LG.

And I'm not sure I like the looks of the LG Vu?

You know not a bad idea...especially if you plugged in a charger then showed some home or vacation movies....Not to mention a power point type setup for work etc... This Could have legs ............

Very refreshing to offer OPTIONS rather than a once a year mini, under 4" phone screened phone.

He he. I guess after telling yourself for years that 3 1/2 " is big you start to believe it. ;) I assume the "S" suffix still stands for small?

Anyway, it looks like Huawei is going more up-market?

And there's a rumor of a pretty slick tablet from Huawei as well: http://www.techradar.com/news/mobile-computing/tablets/huawei-mediapad-10-fhd-tablet-revealed-1066481

And the new Nokia 808 with a rather large 41mp camera?

New Sony Experia models...

http://www.mobiletoday.co.uk/News/14164/MWC__Sony_Xperia_P_and_Xperia_U_smartphones_debut_at_Mobile_World_Congress.aspx

Sony has unveiled two new 'next generation' smartphones at Mobile World Congress, the Xperia P and Xperia U, which join the Xperia S in the Xperia NXT series.

However, the phones look distinctly last generation when compared to HTC, Samsung and Huawei's latest quad-core offerings, with both toting 1GHz dual-core processors and powered by Android Gingerbread.

The NXT series is also used to distinguish the first three Sony-branded phones the company has launched since its split with Ericsson.

The two new Android phones come with Sony’s distinct transparent band that loops around the base of the device integrating invisible antenna components. The transparent element illuminates when receiving calls, texts and notifications.
