Pursuant to another thread of mine, and a lot of head scratching, I might have to put up a second wall(purely comsetic with these concrete looking imitation wood planks) about 4" from the existing wall. This wall gets too much sunlight and heats up the room like hell. I would also like to install some fibre glass in the new cavity which will have been formed. Looking around the Kampaeng Phet area, I can't see any vendors of fibre glass. Does anyone have an idea where I can get it? I need about 80 sq. metres of 4" in rolls. I have transport. Also, does anyone have an idea of cost?

Thanks for the other previous suggestions, but we have no room to put up plants and shades. Looks like the house was built the wrong way round.

Why not use what the Thais call StayCool, its what they lay on top of ceilings.

Costs about 300 baht per bag for 3 inch thick, or you can get 6 inch thick.

I had to buy 40 bags to cover 100 s/m cost me about 12k baht.
