If you look in the back of the book it gives all the codes. Basically its a Foreign Transfer Transaction.

The new model Bangkok Bank passbooks (with blue pages) do not list FTT so perhaps he had looked - although the computer still uses it for updates. It is Foreign Telegraphic Transfer.

Thanks. Didn't have my book handy and just guessed at the meaning. Knew Foreign was correct.
