I have to attend a St. Patricks Day thingy and the host has requested Guiness, any ideas where I can pick some up ? Checked all the normal spots but cannot find any.

Yes, I also saw it at Villa Langsuan. Check the bottle: It shows the name of the importer. If you are talking about quantities (cases, or a keg), contact the importer directly.

I had a party for which I needed 3x 30-liter kegs of German beer, and the importer/distributor not only delivered to my house, he also provided the tap machine (whatever it's called in English - Google translates it as "peg system"), two staff, and glasses - for a small fee. Beer from fresh from the tap is always better than from the bottle, and this is true for Guiness too.
