You can also get Chaindrite (spelling?) in power form. I tried to get some the other day, they were out, but had an alternative. Good for ants, termites, etc.

Borax and Boric acid are not the same thing. Google them. Boric acid is more effective at ridding the area of ants and cockroaches. If you can find the boric acid it's better for insect control. Pharmaceutical grade is not needed but the only place I could find it locally.

Using boric acid in the garden is risky as it can affect the soil for growing plants and veggies

Asking for where to buy Borax in this forum may teach you anything
from how it`s used in food to make it look fresh, to how to remove
smell from your feet, but very little about where you can buy it.

So here is the easiest way to get it. You can pay with PayPal,
Bank transfer, Credit card or 7/11. I paid about 80 bath for

EMS shipping and paid on 7/11. There are cheaper, but slower

alternatives...

Borax: 1kg.

Code: CA0207-A

Price: THB 74.04,-

Boric Acid: 1kg.

Code: CA0205-A

Price: THB 160.13,-

Now kill them ants and roaches, treat your shoes, treat your eye infection,

fungus in your ears, fur and ears on your dog, outdoor furniture or whatever

you need it for.

Cheers :)

Borax is the sodium salt while boric acid is the hydrogenated form. As a pesticide or fungicide, both do basically the same thing.  If you are going to use it as a food preservative though, they have different properties. How are you planning on using it?

Sorry, didn't catch this.  Will be using it as herbicide/pesticide mostly.  Possibly a little cleaning of stains also from clothes or pots.

No plans to ingest it.

Gammaco:

Borax (บอแร็กซ์): 450g for 150B

Boric Acid (กรดบอริก): 450g for 220B

They will deliver only if you purchase more than 2000 baht.

I am pretty sure Suksupan Panit also sells both, probably cheaper too, but I'm unable to find them on their website.

The location on Ladprao Road between 61 and 63 is the best for chemical stock.

hello, do you know if it can help to remove limescale in toilet ? thanks.

Tried every chemical known to mankind plus a few more, none work - try "elbow grease" sandpaper - about 600 grit, five minutes or less and will be spotless.

Pumice stone works also - neither will scratch porcelain as it is harder.

I use vinegar for toilet and tiles. Works great. I eat a couple glass of Sweet Pickles

a year, and when I have emptied a glass, I use the vinegar that is left for cleaning in

the toilet. This also helps me remember to do it.  :whistling:

Just pour some on the toilet brush and "quick-clean" the dry areas. Pour the rest in

the water and let it sit for 5 minutes if it's bad. Dip the brush in the water and use

that to clean everything. It should come off easily.

Every now and then I do the inside of the tank too. Every 2nd year maybe.

Cheers ????
