I bought chessmaster 8000 today, original CD at Pantip just to find out that it did not work properly with win XP :D I can only play in Kids room as the game will crash or thrash the PC if I ever play in Game room. It used up all Processor resources and then the PC thrash. I even tried running in win 95 and 98 mode but to no avail. I did not know that it is designed only for win 95 and 98. Chessmaster 9000 and 10th edition are designed for win 98 and XP. Well, my bad luck with PC game CDs does not seem to end even with original CD's lol. :o

However the new game SOCOM US Navy Seal for Sony PSP works very well. I noticed that Pantip retailers are trying to rip off anyone who cant speak thai. They quoted 2500 bath for one game title and last price at 2000 bath. I knew that is only 35-40$ in US so it should not be that expensive even if it is imported. I bought at MBK for 1700 bath instead. Its strange that SONY show room dont sell PSP games, they only sell the console.

I always have big troubles with Original software, while all the 100 Baht software is working fine.....

Specialy when it goes to some registration, you really get punished for buying Original.
