Looking For Studio For Rent In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a studio for a 1 year rental in Bangkok, not particularly bothered about the area as long as it is within walking distance of a Skytrain/MRT station. I have already trawled through listings on the Thaiapartment website but was wondering whether any forum members could recommend a particular place? Many thanks.

budget, requirements, style you like?

Hi glbv, my budget is approx 5-8k/month. Haven't really thought about the style; I'm not overly fussy, I suppose anything that's reasonably modern and in decent condition would do.

I don't have any personal experience with an apartment in a budget range like that, but http://www.mrroomfinder.com/ is where a lot of my friends have picked up places in that range. They are probably the best site ive seen for lower-mid range apartments that in English.

One thing is that this site lists utilities cost electric/water. This is very important cause a 9000b a month place with a 16unit electric price is going to be a lot more than a 10000b a month place with a government priced one. I have a slightly larger apartment government rate and i regularly hit 10,000 for my electric bill, i shudder to imagine that with a 16 unit price.

Just a quick look on that site, 5-10k range sukhumvit area. Plenty of nice places that im actually a bit surprised are in that price range. As well as some people looking to share large places which is always a good way to meet people if your young and adventurous.
