National League for Democracy (NLD) leader Aung San Suu Kyi will meet President Thein Sein on Wednesday for what a party spokesperson described as a very important meeting before the next session of Parliament begins on April 23. A meeting between them last August paved the way for the NLD to rejoin electoral politics and collaborate in promoting political reconciliation.—AP
