astral
Anyone any experience with Buffalo (no wisecracks please), there seem to be a lot of them on the market. Don't seem to be any Iomega around - result of the floods or other reasons? I bought a Buffalo drive last year, quite neat with the built-in usb cable However I was disappointed to find that the drive inside was WD as I have had bad experiences with that brand some years ago. Leaving that aside, it is working well.

Don't seem to be any Iomega around - result of the floods or other reasons? I have a couple 2TB Buffalos for a couple years now, never had a problem with them. Just bought a Seagate 2TB USB 2 or 3 and it was a tad over 5,000 baht from InvadeIT in Hua Hin right across from Macro. Nice guy to deal with..
