What To See On Samui?

Featured Replies

We are returning to Samui and

have done all the 'tourist' sites that we know of.

Can anybody else tell me of some must sees or things to do that might not be in your typical guidebook.

Thanks very much!!!

Have you been to Angthong Marine National Park? That is very beautiful and they have a day trip out there with kayaking and snorkelling.

Thanks very much for getting back to me but we have done all the tings described on the site and have also been to the Marine park a few times. What was beautifull by the way!

Nevermind, I know we will have a good time anyway!

Isabel,

For a change, try the "ladies muay thai" at Lamai stadium every wednesday ( I think it's weds???)....

An absolute hoot!

We enjoyed the ladies boxing as well our first time in Samui. Pretty, small girls, tough as nuts kicking the the s**t out of each outher! Those fights were Sunday last time we were there (October)

Another fun thing off the beaten tourist track is mountain bikking. There is a place on the ring road in Lamai called Red Bicycle that you can take a tour through the amazing Samui jungle on bikes. Its a long day and a strenuous ride, but if your up for it, it's really worth it.

That sounds brill!!

We love cycling so we will definately check that out!!! And in the jungle...you can't beat that!

Thanks for that. Will check out the thai boxing aswell.

We went to Lumpini Park in Bangkok before and seen the boxing there...what an experience!!

Has anybody done the ( don;t know what its called) but its in the jungle and you go from tree to tree on this pulley thing :o Can't really describe anybetter. I think its only new in Samui.

Bungy Jumping, and no I wouldn't!

No, Isabel means the Canopy ride.

Apparently it's very good, only had positive feedback on this from people who did it.
