I need a rectangular piece of plexiglass, 18 cm x 23 cm, maybe 1/2 cm thick, with a half-moon shaped cut in one end (for wires to go thru). Anybody know where I might obtain such? Tnx for any help.

You could try one of the many sign makers around town.

But they won't cut the shape that you want.

Could always buzz a hole saw through on the edge then chop the rectangle, you would then have a rectangle with a half moon shape on the edge for wires to pass through.

Even I could sort that here at home with my basic hand tools so I reckon a shop that is experienced and equipped should not shed one drop of sweat doing this for the OP.
