Which 3G Sim Card To Buy?

Hi, we bought an LG p500h over here in New Zealand for our niece in Bangkok as a gift for getting into med school over there, I am hoping it will work over there? But I am confused as to which sim card to get for it..

We just wondered what the best pre paid 3g sim card would be the best.

It'll work on any provider for voice/edge.
