webfact Posted May 15, 2012 Share Posted May 15, 2012 NBTC Bans 280 Mobile Phone Models from China BANGKOK: -- The telecommunication regulator has imposed a ban on the import of 280 substandard cellphone models of 28 brands from China. National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission, or NBTC, member Prawit Leesatapornwongsa, said the NBTC has banned the import of 280 Chinese-made cellphone models from the total of 400 probed. He revealed that some models have falsified standard certificates which violate the NBTC's regulations.
