Dont really know Chiang Rai well enough, but i would check it out for sure if it was as "loopable" for bike riding as CM is. Thats a major for me, so would be too out of my criteria. Anyway, CM is still a place i like, and i do LOVE my friends, so dont get me wrong. Just that they dont quite seem to understand that im just not as gregarious as they are.

Edit: actually thats not quite right. I AM gregarious, when im in the mood. Then the banter comes thick and fast, and im in my element. Or if at a club, ill be dancing like im paid to do it! laugh.png Just that im not in the mood as often as everyone else seems to be..in fact, a fraction of that in truth. Prefer to head out on a bike exploring, than get dolled up for a cocktail party.

(is it just me or is this forum constantly playing silly buggers. Lost my edit note a sec ago..and the page refreshes weirdly..pff nvm..)

Great bike riding, nice hills and good little roads that seem to end up nowhere but the trip is worth it.

I crave to be all by myself. Pottering around doing nothing, talking to myself. blasting music. Hopefully the end of this month!!! I shall lock myself in and not come out unless there is a need for cigs and food!! Eight months of not having my own place is starting to get a bit depressing. Not a bit, a lot.

Patsy the VERY best of luck getting that all sorted. Look forward to the day i read you are settled and happy with your own space and net again.

reminds me of a pal who never said much and we spent some quiet moments together and then once the cat joined us and sat quietly...and we looked and I murmurred: 'I believe that she knows something that we don't...' and the pal then grunted in agreement...

It makes me feel quite sad that people would think im avoiding them, or being rude, when in fact, its just my personality.

Scorpio by chance?

Sagittarius...and a typical one in the sense that i love nature and adventure, and yes im friendly..BUT.. i guess its just that i prefer doing activity based things when with people, rather than just sitting chatting in coffee shops. ..but most people dont. I also cant deal with too much drama, so, combining those things, when i do have precious free time, i usually prefer to do it doing something active or adventurous on my own. ..or with my bf, who has a similar mindset in that regard.

none of us should be complacent...socialibility is often an attempt to avoid the inevitable;

Interesting....Not that I am a astrology type at all but, Being a Scorpio your description fit me to a T

I have also noticed over the years my closest friends have always also been Scorpios & I figured it was because we understood

each others need for the times you described.
