Can Someone Please Translate These Writings For Me

is all this for personal studies, learning, knowledge? or do you expect us just to translate it for you...I'd feel better if I knew why you want it translated ? it looks to be basic memos and names, basic stuff, nothing serious. let us know why you want it translated. If I'm not mistaken, this is a learning/sharing forum, not a free translation service for those who have no interest in Thai language...

maybe i'm just jumping to conclusions... :o

....................or maybe you're just being harsh. If it's, as you say, "basic memos and names, basic stuff, nothing serious" then why not translate it for him? :o

Thank you for taking the time BambinA, that's very nice of you.

Greenwanderer is still right that the forum is not a place for posting long translation requests - they should be handled by professionals.

This was, in no way, a "long translation" and there's no better professional than a native Thai speaker. Take a look at many the long threads on these Forums asking for help, favours and advice on a huge number of issues e.g. immigration, property buying/renting ,car buying/renting, divorce, driving in Thailand. These threads are allowed to prolificate freely. Knowledge is "shared".

Most of us who have stayed in Thailand a long time can be considered to be a professional in something or other issue related to Thailand.

Please convince me that small translating requests are inappropriate. Thank you.

Well done Bambina....sometimes, each one of us can use a favour. Pity the Green Wandering Man wouldn't (or, probably, couldn't) oblige.

Well, I guess I came off too harsh about it...Before, I would have gone through the trouble of clicking/enlarging each individual picture to translate, I would prefer to know the reason and motive of the OP.

i.e. is he snooping cause he suspects his thai wife is having an affair? Did he just pick up some notes at the local Thai temple and was curious what it said???

That's all. So, anyway OP, what were these for anyway? Am I right about the private detective motive? :o

I agree with you GW on this one, I reckon the OP is worried, and I would be with 10 million marked next to the wedding.

:D good point.. :o

Well done Bambina....sometimes, each one of us can use a favour. Pity the Green Wandering Man wouldn't (or, probably, couldn't) oblige.

it all depends what you consider a favor. When someone I don't know (well) asks for help, i.e. someone directly asking for money, help, etc. I won't just give it to him/her. Most likely, I will ask the reason...and if it's legit, then I'll be more than happy if it's within my abilities.

Besides, favors are usually a two way street...so one would expect a returned favor etc.

It's hard to say as it was the first post by him(or her??), so it's not exactly sharing/helping if we don't know what it's for, and why, etc.

And I hope in the future, people aren't so willing to translate such requests without any bg info first...whether it be his/her reasons, motives, or atleast is someone with credibility who has made several posts previously, which shows they aren't just taking advantage of a good forum as Thaivisa without making any contributions (sharing) themselves

Ofcourse, there is the factor that people would like to show off their translating abilities at first op, which can be fun...

Babbling, babbling, no hard feelings :D
