Where To Donate Textbooks, Etc

Featured Replies

I cleaned out my son's closet and have many primary school textbooks, workbooks and other learning materials to donate to someone who could use them. They're in English and Thai, all in good condition.

Where can I take them ?

Would be great if you could dontate them to House of Hope in Sangkhlaburi on the border of Myanmar.

You can look up the House of Hope Face Book page or you could actually call there and spek with the lady who runs it.

PM me and I cn send more info.

I remember seeing a drop box for books in Siam Paragon, BKK (ground floor, behind the elevator/under the escalator just opposite Bangkok Bank).

I don't know if it's still there or not, but it was half full when I saw it. I can't remember if the books are donated to a specific school/charity or distributed among various organizations.

It's not there anymore.

Wat Suankaew take most type of donations. Including non functioning electronics, broken furniture. They run a vocational school and students fix the broken stuff as part of the learning. They pick up if you have lots of stuff. If just one box of books? No idea but u can as

Alternatively try Duangprateep foundation in Klong Toey. I dont think they pick up but it's in the centre of bkk.
