I've only noticed this issue with the Fluorescent type of lightining but even then I seem to be unable to replicate the problem sometimes even if I wanted to. Sometimes I take 2 exact pics, one would come out fine and another one would show the artifacts. Sometimes the artifacts would be barely noticeble but still present. I'm not sure if it's a phone issue or other cameras have something similar in similar situation.

I'm posting some of the shots I took over time and some shots I took on purpose to demonstrate the problem. Pictures of blank white paper show this the best.

These 2 shots were taken in different locations, one is at my work place and another one in Pattaya Central Mall in the Bowling place with a lot of natiral ligfht from the outside:

All other pics were taken at my work place with only the fluorescent lights.

Camera orientation does not make a difference on these artifacts, the lines always run the same way:

One shot is taken with camera in horizontal and one is in vertical orientation, again, makes no difference:

And as I've mentioned, sometimes the same shot taken twice may come out fine with no artifacts. I don't know what makes the difference and what makes these appear on the pictures:

Anyone has any ideas or has had similar issues?

Glad to know it's not just me and it's not my camera that's defected. Seems to be some issue with this particular lightning condition. :S Still would like to know what causes this, if anyone has any ideas, please share.

I have a few other Camera Apps, will try.

Flourescent lights flicker, but too quickly for our eyes to detect. Maybe that's just the changing light levels being detected by the sensor as it scans the image.
