Does a Thai passport holder need a visa for Myanmar? I have a US passport and I plan to go to their embassy on Monday to apply for a tourist visa. I think it is B800.

Yes you need. Make sure you bring the necessary documents.

1) 2 passport sized white-background photo.

2) photocopy of your passport (1st page only).

3) booking resit of your air ticket.

4) passport (6 month validity minimum).

5) application form (you can get it there for free. Photocopy is acceptable).
