Something New At Imm?

Featured Replies

Went to KK immigration a couple of days ago for my annual extension. All smooth and pretty fast, but experienced something I had never seen before. (last 2 years renewed in Dan Kwian)

I had gotten out of date-sync with my 90 day report and had to do a 90 day report about 3 weeks ago. When the officer finished my extension he told me I had to do another 90 day report as the one in my passport was canceled by the new extension.

No problems, really -- and maybe a blessing. A reminder to do the 90 day and not get an overstay fine.

In Korat, they automatically do a 90-day report with your annual visa renewal... so that you are in sync again.

A friend reports the same for Khon Kaen.

With the extension they do a new 90 day report to get in sync.

BTW: question would have better be placed in the visa subforum!

Not necessarily, and why the exclamation?

My post was about KK Imm. A slightly different treatment than I experienced for 2 years at Dan Kwian. They didn't "do a new 90 day report", they canceled my old one then sent me to the 90 day report desk.

Same in Udon
