does anyone know of a cheap hotlel 1/2 star near the airport?

I fly into BKK Friday around 4ish and i have an international flight early on saturday

You could also try Thong Ta Resort for good basic accommodation (5 storey building - but no elevator) - look at them on Trip Advisor.

Try Nasa Vegas on Ramkhamphaeng Road. Rooms under 400THB per night. On the Airport Link within walking distance of Ramkhamphaeng Station. But check the reviews on Trip advisor http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g293916-d1022910-Reviews-Nasa_Vegas_Hotel-Bangkok.html

You can Book on line via E-mail on site of same name,you can google, will have telephone number, good English, rooms around 1000 baht, no more than 15 mins from airport very handy for early flights,, small but adequate pool for a dip, you can include tranfers for an additional cost

plai garden hotel it has car service to and from airport have stayed there many times paid around 700 B including the car i think is plai garden . com i book through booking . com

i stayed in the cottage monday night,great hotel picked up and taken back to airport no proplem nice little resturant prices great,lovely pool but did not use, rooms comfortable,and all for 750 bht.mcdonalds and tescos if you need them in walking distance

Thirded. Pick up at the airport from what I remember was at door 4.

I used BS Residence, free shuttle mini van to the hotel and back to the airport. Market infront of the hotel with a few cheap food stalls and a 7/11. Within a couple of km along the main road outside some more upmarket restaurants (I stayed a night, arrived 3pm had some noodles out front, then found a Moo Gata down the road). Nice pool.

700B (inc transfer) upwards, more expensive rooms are poolside.

But there is so many options, and most are pretty good.
