Diecast Model Car Store?

Featured Replies

Today I went to Siam Discovery to the excellent model car collectors store which used to be there, only to find it was gone!

A guy in one of the other stores said it closed two months ago.

Anyone know if it has moved somewhere, or any other similar stores? Some searching resulted in maybe one on Sukhumvit rd near Thonglor but these were old postings and maybe that one is no longer there either.

The 2 that were in Central world have gone. If they ever updated their stock they might have had a chance instead of just hoping someone would come in one day and buy what no one had wanted for the previous couple of years.

The was one in MBK that mostly did planes, but as it was a sister store of one of the ones in Central world it's probably gone as well.

Try Aree, Soi 7, about 150 meters down the soi from the Aree BTS station.

There is one in China town in the old fashioned mall there (the old colonial looking building place.

There's a small shop (Tom & Jerry) in Terminal 21, Sukhumvit that sells die cast aircraft, I think they had a few cars as well.

Toystudio, 2nd Floor MBK also have some cars.

Thanks for the replies, I have seen some of the places but they are really toy stores rather than collectors places. Guess this scene is gone now in BKK

The one in Aree looked like a collectors store to me, quite large as well.

The plane shop in MBK is still there.

Try Aree, Soi 7, about 150 meters down the soi from the Aree BTS station.

Aree BTS station ---> Ari BTS station??
