Little did I know that I'm living down the street from one of Bangkok's largest C/S operations. Last saturday a command post was set up with "experts" from Australia and England as well as Thailand awaiting True's upgrade. I'm happy to report that the only thing that they have seemed to have accomplished so far is increasing the number of empty pizza boxes left out for the trash man and making a local thai lady who owns a small eatery wanting for some time off from cooking. I mean do they expect to do whatever they do in a few days in light of the fact True has spent millions on upgrading their system? Tis funny so see them mull around outside looking lost for ideas.

How do know purpose to know all this information about where these guys are from and what their "expertise" is. Also, why on earth would they have to come to BKK to do all this? Word on the streets is the NDS c/s is back up and running albeit at a much higher monthly cost to the end user. One thing is for sure is that the guys selling this service are going to be bringing in some serious money.

Well, furious I am : TRUE said to the mrs this am they were gonna come out and sort out the problem with our (and everyone else) not getting all the channels since the switchover.

Then they called back an hour later and said "you have to contact your condo building and get a list of all people with the issue before we come out as the problem is with your building" . There are over 1200 units in our building. Funny there wasn't a problem until you guys switched to your so-called upgraded system.

The upshot of it is I have instructed the mrs to cancel the entire <deleted> thing including TRUE internet. Will check out the grammy box and will definately switch to TOT hi-speed.

Anyone can have a problem - but the total arrogance from them is intolerable. Just glad i didnt buy their <deleted> box.

Since this post earlier today, only thing that has happened a few hours ago is ALL channels are gone in the building. I have now cancelled it completely and unplugged the useless piece of turd. As soon as I can get TOT Hi-speed installed, their internet is gone too.

afraid that is the best you can do.. make your choice with your wallet. Not saying that will change anything but at least you won't be paying them for not taking care of you.

Agree on guys making a bundle if and when they discover a way around True's new system.

As for how I found out who they are? Bamboo internet, Thai maids living in our estate village. Within hours word hit the street as to who they were and what they were doing.

And no the NDS c/s isn't up and running on all types of "boxes". Yea, they do have it up on a Dream which isn't even for sale here yet but due to "technical issues", customer accounts and what have U they are still hard at work trying to discover a work around for the most common boxes currently or should say previously being used here..

Funny I can't wait to get rid of my TOT Hi-speed internet and get True's Ultra Hi-speed Cable Internet. TOT for me is absolute crap and everything takes forever to load, it take 20 minutes to load a 2 min YouTube video!!
