A hard and thankless job has been made nearly impossible lately by idiots, wind-up merchants and sad-cases posting nonsense replies and topics...

On all Forums criticising Moderation is not allowed...nothing different about Thai Visa.

Just seems The General Forum is populated by a lot of idiots and they have their work cut out...costs nothing to be nice and show a bit of appreciation for the work the Mods do does it?

This is the first "Thank You" I've written in 7 years and 2.5k posts.

Finally, I appreciate this is a commercial enterprise and "George and Co" do very nicely out of it, but it still takes a lot of effort from all the unpaid, unthanked Mods!

Now all the smart <deleted> wind your 'kin necks in!

Actually when you think about it, of how many members TV has now? to be talking like this to one another and at the same time having joined two days apart seven years ago is a pretty strange coincidence.

Do they really receive no benefit from being mods? It seems like quite a big job to do for free.

Anyhow, I think the mods are do a great job and are usually consistent, which I think is important.

I've been a member for longer than that and appreciated the lack of moderation in the past. Too serious now.

It's nutters and trolls that made this website what it is now.

I remember when the admin used to like a drink and a good laugh.

Actually the Mods here are pretty lenient , well more lenient than i would be. I would just delete the post I would ban the user for ever.

Starting with the whole Man City Thread in the football forum, that thing is gone along with Mr. Bj, Jackanddanny and that lot. We'll keep arsenal and spurs around because we all need a good laugh.

Posters like JT would get a special xml feed showing Live timing of their post count. Its actually more interesting than what he writes about.

People who start topics like If I had 3 million dollars would automatically be loaned out to a new forum for infants.

The western food section would have a special log in for people wanted to regurge their feelings about best mexican, burgers, pizza etc. It would show all their previous posts on the subject and instead of having to retype it every few weeks, they would just auto select their replies.

Give me another coffee and I will come back to deal with the issue of The Thai Politics- I mean Newsclipping forum...

From what I gather the Mods do it for free ( got to be poster there somewhere ) I personally think the Mods do a good job, but it depends on the place you want to be, you have your choice of a multitude of outlets and I am not saying if you don't like it go home, just reside in the Manor that you feel most welcome.

Longer than 7 years, but feel it is to serious now, I am not disagreeing, but can I patent the glue on your fingers?
